About the Protective Equipment Set

Construction workers, forklift operators, and other heavy machinery drivers are at high risk to develop musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and should have proper protection to prevent pain:

  • Risk of pain in the buttocks/coccyx caused by prolonged sitting, especially when the seats lack sufficient adjustability.
  • Risk of back pain and generalized pain caused by vibrations from the machinery and shocks due to terrain irregularities. Vibrations and shocks travel through the seat and affect the body and are known to be an aggravating factor in the development of musculoskeletal disorders.

The optional straps attach around the seat backrest to stabilize the cushion and prevent it from slipping due to movement.

For seats with side airbags: Do not select the strap option on the Ergoback backrest, as it may obstruct airbag deployment.
