Headrest for Office Chairs

Working on a computer can lead to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) such as neck pain, often caused by a bad positioned computer screen: a screen that is too high forces you to keep your neck slightly extended, while a screen that is too low forces you to bend your head forward. This stress on the neck can cause neck pain, which is why it is important to properly adjust your workstation.

Using a chair with a headrest allows you to rest your head and neck to reduce the occurrence of neck tensions. However not all chairs have a headrest, and sometimes the headrest is not adjustable enough to be used properly. In consequence, many people do not use the headrest, which prevents the neck muscles from resting.

This cushion creates a thicker removable headrest to improve depth adjustment. For chairs that do not have a headrest or whose headrest is too high to be used correctly, the cushion can be placed directly on the backrest and serve as a headrest (if the height of the backrest allows it).
