Car drives impose constraints on the body, even on people without previous conditions or pain.

First constraint: the seated posture. The car seat is inclined backward, positioning the knees above the hips and closing the pelvis. The spine is curved inward, the discs compress and pinch, and they can no longer fulfill their role as shock absorbers. This posture is particularly painful when maintained for a long time.

Additionally, during car rides, the body is subjected to micro-vibrations, shocks, jolts, and compressions that contribute to back pain.

These constraints can ultimately lead to the development of Musculoskeletal Disorders such as low back pain.
