The Ergoaero aircraft seat cushion is designed to prevent back pain caused by vibrations experienced during flight.
The front of the seat is higher than the back in an aircraft, which closes the pelvis. The spine is curved forward, the intervertebral discs compress and pinch and can not act as shock absorbers, causing pain and discomfort.
Additionally, the body is subjected to micro-vibrations, shocks, shearing forces and compressions, which cause back pain and neck pain.
The poor posture combined with the vibrations and shocks experienced during aircraft piloting exacerbate the pain and conditions such as sciatica, lower back pain, herniated disc, spinal compression, and neck pain.
To prevent and alleviate back pain, we have created the Ergoaero seat cushion.
